 If you haven't already heard, next week is going to be haute, haute, haute in 2ND Street District.
Austin Fashion Week, Presented by 2ND Street District, is a series of events throughout Austin August 14 through 21. Designers from across Texas will be featured in participating retail and salon locations. Austin Fashion Week designers represent the best and brightest in Texas, including established designers, up-and-comers, and those just launching their first lines.
Among the week's flagship events is the 2ND Street District Fashionable Fifth Birthday Fete Thursday, August 19, from 5 to 9:30 pm. This District-wide celebration will feature trunk shows, parties, a drawing for a 2ND Street District shopping spree and sales. It all culminates with birthday cupcakes from delish and a cocktail toast at 9 pm in the W Hotel Fashion Week lounge (next door to Eliza Page on 2ND Street).
The birthday and fashion celebration continues at Malverde, with $3 Sangria all night, and an after-party sponsored by Groupon.
