Big Ass Canvas is an experiment in community art to bring socially conscious people together and highlight the vast resources of compassionate creativity available in our community.  A unique amalgam of ideas transforms a huge blank canvas into a unified artwork as diverse as the community in which it’s created.  Funds generated through donations and sales of artwork go to benefit Explore Austin, which is a mentorship program with life changing results for hundreds of underserved youth in East Austin.  Find us at the art wall on 2nd St.  We bring the canvas – You bring the creativity!
