Skye Strickler's empowering and melodic pop music is influenced by everything from RnB to Swing - all infused into a modern, upbeat singer-songwriter template. Following a residency at Lucky Lounge, KOOP spots, and recent RedGorilla showcase, his debut single "Dance the Night Away" has established him as Austin's emerging pop act. Originally a singer-songwriter, his live sets today, often with an accompanying band, are a balancing act between powerful ballads and danceable anthems as each song teeters between various genres. Skye's first EP, "DNA," is due out this year.

That Girl Dre is a singer-songwriter based in the live music capital Austin, Texas. Her "Green-Eyed Soul" music blends groovy R&B and infectious pop melodies. Dre and her band currently perform at Austin hotspots The Continental Club, The Blackheart, Empire Control Room, and Cactus Cafe.
David Diers | Blu Dot | 4:15pm
David Diers is a composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist from Austin, Texas. David performs as a solo artist, as a member of the Sarah Pierce band and with his own rock trio across Texas and the western United States. David's music is characterized by soaring vocals, complex harmony and a diversity of influences. His rock group is the Led ClashDylan of the discotheque - with riffs, beats, and lyrics that move. "The Dead," his most recent single, was released this year as a follow-up to 2014's "Heart of Steele." He is working on a full length album of original music for release later this year. David has shared the stage with members of Breaking Benjamin, Waylong Speed, Loggins and Messina, and Reckless Kelly and trained under Pulitzer Prize winner Kevin Puts and disciple of Ravi Shankar, master sitarist, Steven Slawek.

Throughout his musical career, Michael Anthony Anaya, Jr. (MAAJR) has performed at SXSW, Reggae Fest, Bat Fest, Neon Desert Festival, Reggae in the Hills, and The Viper Room. He has also had the opportunity to work with many talented people, recording with Stuart Sullivan (Sublime, Willie Nelson), touring with post-hardcore icons Glassjaw, and sharing the stage with an impressive list of artists like 311, Slightly Stoopid, Rebelution, and many more. His accolades include winning 2nd place in the pop category of the 2012 international John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Not only does Anaya have strong Texas roots, but music has taken him around the world literally. In 2014, multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated band Alien Ant Farm asked Anaya to play keys and sing back-up vocals for their U.S. tour. Needless to say Anaya is a true artist and professional musician who is carrying his previous experience with him on this endeavor.
Deann René | Con'Olio | 5pm
Deann René has been singing and performing since she could walk and talk. Her childhood was music-centric; her parents and grandparents were music instructors. Deann started her musical career with the piano at age 5 and clarinet, which she started playing in junior high. She began writing songs while sitting at the piano, then finally picked up the guitar after college. Today, Deann performs her original music with her full rock band or solo and is based in Austin, TX. René's music is strong-willed rock and roll. Her songs are written from the heart about her journey through life and love. They are about real life and real experiences. Real like Deann René.

Graham Wilkinson is constantly reinventing himself. The single "FOCUS" off of his 2011 release, "the spiritual accessories ep" made it all the way to MTV.com and remained the #1 Most Shared, Most Commented On, and Most Viewed for over a week; all done as a completely independent, unsigned artist. All of this is on the foundation of his 2009 release "YEARBOOK" which featured Alejandro Escovedo & Hayes Carll. In between recording, family time, and touring, Graham has opened for national acts such as G. Love, Trevor Hall, The Gourds, Johnathan Tyler & the Northern Lights, Soul Rebels Brass Band & Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Hayes Carll, Ramblin' Jack Elliot, Greg Brown, Alejandro Escovedo and dear friend Kimya Dawson.
KP & Bryan | Hacienda Austin | 4pm
When UK born Kate Priestley isn't singing acoustic sets she leads Austin band KP and the Boom Boom. Her voice and music fuze R'n'B, soul, and jazz creating a seductive and original sound. KP began her musical journey in India and continued to write and play music through her journey around South America, laying the foundation for her arrival in Austin back in 2010. Since that encounter, KP has never looked back. She has sung backing vocals for Austin band TBird and the Breaks, touring with them and also opening for Sting and the Flaming Lips. Her own band KP and the Boom Boom opened for Snoop Dogg at ACL Moody Theatre in 2015 and will be releasing their debut album later this year as well as touring. She also just completed her March artist residency at newly opened Geraldine's in Hotel Van Zandt. Not only stylish in music, KP is known around town for her bold style and self custom made stage attire. Mix all that with her voice, lyrics, and positivity and you'll find a very unique all-encompassing talent to watch out for. Also joining her on guitar is classically trained Texan native Bryan Sunderman who also forms part of 'The Boom Boom'.

Justin Ahmanson and Emily Villareal found each other at an Austin open mic in December of 2014 while pursuing their respective musical careers. There was an immediate and undeniable chemistry, and they started playing together around town. They were met with great response from audiences everywhere which led to the formation of The Traveling Ones in December of 2015. Soulful harmonies and honest songwriting over a foundation of rock 'n' roll creates the duo's unique Americana sound. They are currently working on their debut album and are focused and ready to share their flavor of Americana across Texas and beyond.

Ranked among the Top 10 Femal Vocalists and World Music artists at the 2015-16 Austin Music Awards, Nagavalli spreads her good vibes to wide audiences with her organic blend of pop and soul, marinated in pure Eastern tradition. Born and raised in Mumbai, India, Nagavalli earned her graduate degree in Information Technology at Florida State University and moved to Austin to work for a technology firm. Despite her successful IT career, Nagavalli realized it is in music where she experienced pure joy and became fascinated with how music connected people to one another. She began singing and writing her own songs and soon assembled a band to record and perform shows with her. She recruited artists from a variety of genres, ranging from Latin, rock and jazz musicians to East-Indian and Middle-Eastern classical and folk musicians, and her very own style of music, which she coined Eastern soul, was born. She teamed up with Austin's award-winning producer AJ Vallejo to produce her debut album, which she titled Eastern Soul, and released in April 2012. Also in 2012, Nagavalli added another dimension to her career by composing the music for a Bollywood-inspired Shakespeare's Twelfth Night play performed by the Austin Shakespeare Company. Now in 2016, Nagavalli continues her Easter Soul journey with the release of her newest single, "Reach Out," In addition, Valli will release later this year an album under "The Bhakti Project" series, of devotional music in the East-Indian tradition.
