As they do for any politician, circumstances have changed for Le Politique. The downtown Austin French bistro, which had been temporarily closed for two-and-a-half years, is officially closed for good.

The Second Street District holds its Santa on Second event Saturday at the W Hotel, where families can come and get a free photo with Santa, and enjoy hot chocolate, drinks, cookies and holiday crafts.

The 2nd Street District is home to the annual Holiday Window Walk. This festive event takes place each year in November and December when the storefronts of various businesses are transformed into decorative holiday scenes.

2nd Street District will celebrate the holidays during the Santa on 2nd holiday event. Guests can snap their annual photo with Santa for free (prints & digital copies will be provided), create holiday crafts, and enjoy hot non-alcoholic beverages and cookies.

Starting on Friday, November 25, visitors can watch the storefronts of 2nd Street District businesses transform into decorative holiday scenes during the twelfth annual Holiday Window Walk.
